Title: Scottish 1911 census
Post by: anne50 on Tuesday 05 April 11 20:31 BST (UK)
Can anyone help me. I found my Gt gt Grandfather today on the 1911 census. His was the last entry on the page. It stated that he was a widower, then i noticed that 2 people resided at the address, but who?? Is there anyway i can find out who the mysterious person was? His first wife (my Gt gt grandmother) had died, and that he had married a second time. I put in her name, but there was no matches.

If you go back to the page with your ancestor (it should be on your Viewed Images list) you can then click on the "View Page Before" button. It will cost you another 5 credits.

If he was the last person on the page viewed should it be "View Page After" to see the rest of the household?

Apologies. Next page of course - I can only blame census fatigue.
