Title: missing family member
Post by: jansen on Tuesday 05 April 11 13:43 BST (UK)
Hi

I am stuck as to where to look for a distant ancestor. He is in the 1841 census living in Bolehill derbyshire, in 1844 He was sent to prison for forgery but after this there are no records of any marriage or death. Does anyone have any ideas?
Regards
Pat

Hi
I have posted before about this person but have since found the prison record.
His name is Luke Rouse or Roose born 30/03/1825 to George and Temperance Roose in Bolehill Wirksworth.
Regards
Pat

hi pat,
assuming you have no info on him leaving prison have you checked transportation records? (don't mean to be the grim reaper) tony
