Help needed please I can't find Andrew McNutt who was listed as being a Publican on his son's marriage certificate in 1861.
There may have been other family members also a Mother but all the names I have are Andrew (father) William (son). I have hit a large brick wall on this one. Any help at all would be appreciated thanks Matty :)

I have an 1871 directory for Derry and district. It includes some Donegal towns. It is not indexed and nothing - not even towns and villages -is in alpa order. Do you have an approx location and I can have a look.?

Happy New Year Rachel
Thank you for the offer of a look up. Since I last did the post on 2.11.04 I have found out more infprmation about "Andrew" he lived in Dunfanaghy on Main Street, I now have his Marriage Certificatedated 5th December 1833 at the Dunfanaghy Presbyterian Church - wife Susan Richardson both recorded as living in Figart (close to Dunfanaghy). Andrew's Father was William McNutt & Mother Catherine nee Culbert. Susan's Father - John Richardsonand Mother Sarah nee McKinly.
I would appreciate it if you have the time to look up any of the above names ( presume all lived in Dunfanaghy/Figart Donegal.
Thank you for the offer anyway.

Hi Christopher,
Andrew McNutt's occupation was given as Publican in Dunfanaghy on one of his son's Baptism in January 1837, but also the 1871 Derry Almanac & Directory has him listed as a Public House Keeper.
