Title: WW2 R.A.F warrant officers

looking for any information on were i can find ww2 r.a.f warrant officers personnel
i have looked at various web sites and put mesage on them but having know responce .
i am researching sgt.S M whitlock  rank nu. 508104   r.a.f ww2 ,he would have done his traning ,i beleive at babbacombe south devon uk 1940,
around 1944 he  went over seas ,but i dont know were .
also he would have at abbey lodge regents st .london somtime between 1940&1944.
i dont have full forenames only S M .
would be greatfull for any  ww2 researchers who could help me
this genlteman is on my husbands line ,and we are going of old letters from ww2
it would he like to  know what   happened to him .through the war years ww2.

hi and welcome to rootschat ,
all ww2 records for the armed forces are still only available by applying for them by either the person themselves or the next of kin if someone other than those i,ve mentioned applies i,m sure i,m right in that you can get a shortened version of it but not the whole thing  go to this site it tells you all you need to know regarding records but bear in mind that the application will need a death cert and it will cost £30 that applies to all except the actual person or his spouse , www.veterans-uk.info/service_records/service_records.html  .
