Searching for information on my grandmother Hannah Armstrong  (AKA) Hannah Armstrong Little.  Hannah gave birth to my mother (Evelyn Armstrong) in Glasgow in 1912.  Hannah gave my mother up for adoption.  On the birth certificate for my mother it states that the birth took place at 79 Byres Road Partick. The birth certificate also states that Hannah was a domestic servant at 6 Park Terrace Glasgow, this address was also listed as her domicile.  Any information on Hannah would be so appreciated.  Thank you for taking the time to read this.  Maureen Parker

Try the www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk website. It worked for me and I looked up Hannah Armstrong with 5 results for Lanarkshire. It costs about 20p a lookup but it's worth it.

P.S. I know this isn't really related to your search, but I just thought it was a strange coincidence that I have a freind called Hannah Armstrong and her sister is called Evelyn! Lol... :)
