Hello,
Would it be possible to look up the following for me please?
I have "Louise Ruddle" born 1885 in Keynsham (Somerset) but think this is Gloucestershire, and I'm just wondering if her family might appear in the 1891 census please.
I don't yet know the names of other family members however her father was rumoured to be a school teacher.
Thank you in anticipation of some nice results :)
Kind Regards
Adrian

Thank you ever so much for looking this up, however I'm just wondering if it would be possible
that I've got it wrong?
Would it be possible please to see if another Louise Ruddle is in this county in the 1891 please?
I only have the marriage at the moment so I cant be 100% sure that this is the correct branch.
Thank you again for your help,
Regards

There are 5 ladies named Louise/Louisa Ruddle on the 1891 census.
Ages range from 1 to 64.
Adding variations of Riddle/Rudall/Rudder takes this to 27 ladies.
Perhaps if were to post details of the marriage, it would help us in the search?
What was the name of her father?
Where were the couple married?
Have you located them on any other census?
Start with what definite information you have.

Thank again foryour time,
I think what i need to do is visit my local records office and look through the st Catherines house index,
however all I have at the moment is the marriage record as follows.
Marriages Jun 1920 2a 543
Ripley George W Reigate (This is actually Rapley)
Ruddle Louise Reigate
George has been in my records for some time now and only found Louise in the last few days
after picking up on the trail again after a few years.
I now George died in 1978 and possibly Louise died around the same time in 1977 i think and this would have been Reigate in Surrey.
That's all I have on Louise at the moment, but thank you for your help again.
Regards

Just a thought . . .
When Louise married in 1920, she would have been 35 years of age.
So, was Ruddle her maiden name, or her former married name?
I.E. was she married before?
Think you'll need the marriage certificate here.
That will give you age, address at the time, father's name & occupation and witness names.
