I notice in the National Archives of Scotland, that the divorce was granted on 1926.

both of these people are deceased.,she is a very important link in my family tree.

Can you tell us what information you already have about her - birthyear/birthplace/parents etc and also what information you are still looking for

2nd husband -charles nicol montgomery   . mother Robina father Henry Slater,  did she have any children to charles ?

Have you checked for that kind of information on Scotlands People  www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

If she only married Charles after 1926 - any children could still be living and Rootschat do not allow information on living persons to be posted

You have still given no details of her birthyear or where she was born  so it is impossible to say whether she would still have been of child bearing age when she re-married

SP has jean slater(other surnames mccartney/montgomery) death 1953
midlothian born c1890
charles may have been divorced as well(1932 NAS)
that may further complicate any searches for children  :-\
possible death 1970 midlothian born c1890 ?
