I cannot find any census entry or death in 1892 that fits the profile you have given (ie) b 1811 and  living in Leics

The 1841 has a Samuel and Ann living in Notts and also a Samuel jnr b 1816 married to an Ann b 1806 living in Ashby de la Z - no children so presumably newly married and therefore marriage should be on freebmd

Did Samuel have any children?

Hi Carole,

re Samuel. he was born in Ashby de la Zouch and was living there in the 1841 &51 census with Ann.
There were no children  in these census, apart from Elizabeth Buck who was a lodger in the 1851 census. There seems to be no trace after this, although Samuel died in Ashby de la Zouch in1892.
Thanks  katwoo. :)

Hi TB
