Hi all,
I am hoping that someone will be able to go to St Patrick's graveyard and take a photo of the following headstones
Elizabeth (Lolo) Connery who died in the 14 September 2004
John Connery who died 15 May 1981
I would be very grateful of any help as I am doing this research for my niece
Thanks for your help
Ps Can anyone tell me what the newspaper would be called that death notices would be published in
-
Most death notices are entered in "The Irish Examiner" ( especially for the Cork City and County areas.
Where exactly is St. Patrick's graveyard??

Hi Mary,
Thanks for your reply and kind help. Well I take it is St Patrick's graveyard my nieces grandfather is buried in as he lived in Fermoy but I can't find an address for it. I have never been to Cork so don't know the area at all.
Thanks for your help

Hi again,
My husband asked a friend of his from Fermoy today and he said there is a ST Patricks church with a small adjoining graveyard for priests. He hasn't heard of St Patricks Cemetery but is going to make enquiries for me. Will let you know when he gets back to me.

Hi,
Could this be the one? It is in Crosshaven on the Church Bay Road, Google Map/Earth it. I have been there and the graves seem to be fairly modern, as in 1900s if memory serves me correctly, I don't live there but it might narrow your search down and someone might be able to help

Hi all,
I am hoping that someone will be able to take photos of headstones for Connery in Kilcrumper old graveyard in Cork as I have a copy of the death notice.

Hi Kieran,
I got a call today from my husband's friend saying that Kilcrumper was sometimes known as St Patricks, although this is not mentioned on the plaque.
I have a few photos of Kilcrumper but unfortunately none for Connery. I don't live near Fermoy so am not able to help you this time. Sorry.
Kilcrumper is a very large cemetery, with a very old section and a newer section. I will post a couple of general photos here.

Hi Mary,
Thanks for your reply and the kind photos you have enclosed. It is a pity you don't live closer to it. However, someone else might see my post and be able to do it for me.
Thanks for all your help

You are welcome,
Some one from Fermoy would have to have the exact dates and maybe contact the superintendent of the cemetery to get the exact loaction of the grave.
