Title: Llanhilleth
Post by: zetlander on Thursday 24 March 11 00:04 GMT (UK)
Ewart William Thomas died in Llanhilleth in September 1918.
He was the son of John Howard and Kathleen Thomas of 7? Commercial Road Llanhilleth.
Can any help me find the family grave - St Illtyd Church Cemetery?
Many thanks
John (North Yorkshire)

Hi John

He was buried in the graveyard of Christchurch, Aberbeeg.

I have some burial records from that time and amongst them is the following entry:

Ewart William Thomas   Llanhilleth  age 7  16/07/1918

Aberbeeg is less than a mile north of Llanhilleth.

Sorry to be a pain but have you a plot map or would you know where I could get one from? My mum and me came down to Aberbeeg last fri, and couldn't find it anywhere, we don't even know if it had a headstone, thanks
