Fellow Rootschatters
Can anyone help me with shipping records for Peter BONNER (born about 1787 in Ireland) and his wife Margaret BONNER (born about 1788 in Scotland) to North America, probably around 1828?
They were having children in the USA (New York and Massachusetts) by 1830, but they should be accompanied by at least one child (Elizabeth, born about 1823 in England) and possibly a second daughter (Catherine (born about 1828 in Scotland).
I would appreciate help with this inquiry; I have gone about as far as I can with information available in US records.
Many thanks in anticipation.

Hello Philllip.
Unfortunately there is a shortage of passenger lists for the time frame you require. http://www.castlegarden.org/searcher.php started 1820 but shows nothing under that spelling. The other site shows the earliest one of that name in 1832 but its to late and not your man.
You may have hit a proverbial brick-wall. ???

Hi Sandra
That wasn't exactly the news I was hoping for, but I suspect you're right!
Thanks for checking and taking the time to write
Kind regards. Philip

I am totally new to this site, but because I googled Phillip McCormack, I got led to your posts of last August re IVEY family. If you still have any interest in this matter, I have knowledge of the McCormack side of Caroline Ivey's history. Let me know if you want.
