Title: 7th Battallion Ox & Bucks, WW2
Post by: Oli19 on Sunday 20 March 11 23:06 GMT (UK)
Hi,

I'm trying to track my grandad's whereabouts during WW2.  He spent most of his time in the 7th Battallion of the Ox & Bucks.  He was injured in the desert and then went on to Italy where I believe he may have been involved in the battle at Salerno.  He was captured in Italy and transferred to Stalag VIIA.

Any help is gratefully received!  :)

Thanks Buzancy18,

I've got some letters which describe where he is at certain points during the war and most of the dates you have given me tie in.  I sent off for his service records some time ago but unfortunately still waiting!  ???
