Title: Loughborough Park photo ID
Post by: andy_barnsley on Sunday 20 March 11 15:07 GMT (UK)
Hi,

I recently acquired this postcard. It shows the bandstand in a park but the name of the park has been cut off the bottom of the picture. It looks like Queen's Park. The postcard was posted from Loughborough in 1913

Can anyone confirm this is the bandstand at Queen's Park, Loughborough

Many Thanks
Andy

It looks to be the one in Queens Park. It was erected in 1902.

Hi from the local yokel!

the park will soon acquire a new aquisition - the cast of the great Bell from St Pauls which was of course cast in Loughborough Taylors Bell foundry.
