Try the Northumberland Archives. I know they received sheds loads of council stuff when Castle Morpeth council was merged into Northumberland County Council. Unfortunately ........... there is a huge backlog of accessions waiting at Woodhorn (NBL archives) to be catalogued.  BUT you may be lucky, I think photos would have benen taken prior to demolition by the Council.

Or

Try the Morpeth Antiquarians Society, contact them at
http://www.northumbriana.org.uk/antiquarian%20society/index.htm

OR as a last resort send a letter to the "Morpeth Herald" newspaper, contact them at

I have family connections with Conningsby House which explains where the house got it's name from. My relative Eliza Pickworth Pogson married a George William Watson in 1891 in Newcastle. Eliza came from Conningsby in Lincolnshire so presumably that is where the house name came from. Eliza's probate record states that she was living at Conningsby House, Morpeth at the time of her death, 12th October 1916. Haven't done much more digging yet as have only just come across this connection. Would love to hear if anyone has additional information about the Watson family.
