Hi All.
Could some kind person please lookup the 1861 census for Wolstanton Staffordshire for a Rebecca Ouslam born 1821 Staffordshire, it is possible her name might have been transcribed as Rebecca Burslam. I am trying to find out any information about her and who the other members of the household are. Any help will be really appreciated.
Regards Dave.

Hi oldtimer.
Thank you for the information.
I think that this is the Rebecca I am looking for.
I have her on the 1841 census age 20 residing in Bilston with a Thomas Ouslam as lodgers at the home of her mother Mary who had remarried to a James Hulme. Thomas Ouslam was convicted of theft in 1850 and sentenced to 7 years transportation to Tasmania. I dont think Thomas ever retuned to the UK. I am hoping to find out what became of Rebecca. Once again many thanks.
Dave.
