Would some one look this up for sure. Trying to establish Elizabeths birthplace as Stanton On Bridge. Thats what it is on the 1861 census. I have a coupleof ggrandmothers who give different places each time of their birthplaces

Can you always include birthyears - makes census tracing easier

1861 Birthplace is shown as Stanton By Bridge - not on Bridge

Hi Shirley. I have a thread about the Collyers. All the info that people here gave are in there so it might be of use. I DO think that John Snow is Elizabeth's father. I have to check to my dad's cousin :D
