Best bet are the electoral rolls which are probably held at the records office or main library

Vi,

" get myself to the Library first "

Best bet as suggested by Carole is Northumberland County Record Office at Woodhorn (Wed-Sun).

If you are aiming at libraries try Ashington before Bedlington, then perhaps North Shields.
Definitely no Bedlington ERs in Newcastle City Library.

What was address ?

Then break in availabilty through WW2 years ( for security reasons)

Michael
