Title: BRIMMER/BRIMME/BRAIM/BRAME
Post by: Irene Lilian Hunt on Monday 21 February 11 06:18 GMT (UK)
Variations of this name were recorded in Tasmania, Australia, circa 1840.  The person was said to be Spanish (by later generations) and came from the town of Ronda.  Does anyone know if this would be a Spanish name?

Any suggestions, ideas etc would be most gratefully received.

Many thanks,
Irene

"Brime" might be close - there are placenames (Brime de Sog) and a few people with that surname I can find.
