Title: Martins in Carbury or Derrinturn

Hi everyone,

I am new to RootsChat and have just finally discovered where my family came from in Ireland.  I am looking for help in searching for William Martin and Elizabeth McGovern who were likely from either Carbury or Derrinturn.  I don't know the dates of their birth or death, but I do know they had a son (my great great grandfather) born 14 Apr 1834 who immigrated to New York in 1866 and died in White Plains, NY 24 Apr 1914.  I believe that William and Elizabeth remained in Co. Kildare where they died and were buried.  If you have any leads please contact me!

hi if you look up the http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie .and in the census of 1901 KILDARE- carbury- derrinturn- martin .there is a William
