The 1634 Visitation shows John as eldest son and Edward as 2nd son. Given that Thomas only died in 1628 allegedly age 105, I'd have thought that Edward and Thomas, the providers of the information, would have been aware of his existence, although it's possible that he was the third, or subsequent, son, and not #1 as you show. Without knowing what the wills contain, it's difficult to comment one way or the other.
If you'd like to post transcripts of the various wills I'll look further at them.

Could you please let me know if the 2 Wills of John Hill, dated 3rd December 1606 and Elizabeth Hill's dated 5th September 1614 are within the book you mention or are available from any other source?
I have done searches to find them to no avail. I believe that John/Elizabeth could be 10x great grandparents of mine so would like to establish if either Wills can confirm this or not through their son, Thomas and his son, Francis chr. 1608 Flitton. Thank you.

Bedfordshire Archives have copies of these 2 wills...
John Hill, gent, Silsoe ref ABP/W 1607-8/146
Elizabeth Hill, widow, Silsoe ref ABP/W 1614/32
Perhaps you could email them & get them to transcribe them for you. They may well expect you to pay for the service.
Cheers John

Thank you! I had found 12 L5 series documents in their online search and 3 ABP Wills - all Hill's of Flitton and neighbouring parishes but those 2 eluded me. I will follow it up.
