Title: Leeds Burial Register_Yeretski
Post by: mmeldrum on Wednesday 16 February 11 20:19 GMT (UK)
Hello,

I'm not sure is this is something someone can help me with but here goes...

I found a record for Isaac Yeretski. He is buried in the UHC Cemetery in Leeds, plot #703. The online record simply says he was 86 at the time of his death and quotes the record source as "burial registers".

Would there be more information available in the burial registers, if so who would I contact to search them or is there someone on the list who has access to the info. I am writing from Canada.

Many thanks for help or suggestions.

Hi and welcome to rootschat
If you look at www.freebmd.org.uk you will see that the registration of his death is on there in 1894.  Getting that certificate may give you more information.  The burial records may well give an address and next of kin too if anyone can access them.
Regards
Andrea

Well, I'm a bigtime bonehead. I was all set to order the certificate when things started ringing a bell in my head. I had already ordered it last week. I think what I was after here was whether the cemetery, had other records.

Thanks for waking me up!!
