Can anyone help with this ?.
8 March 1795,Thomas Pickstock Watkiss married Ann Wilson Manchester Cathedral, because of the unusual name,it's my theory

That's rather difficult as you have posted on the Cheshire board but mention a marriage in Lancashire

So what is their connection to Cheshire?

have you looked for Pickstock/Watkiss marriages on the IGI or on www.lan-opc.org.uk  or  http://www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~cprdb/
