Can any one help please with the marriage of Robert Eaves and Ethelreda. Round about 1818. They came from Ely so I imagine they got married there. It might be that Ethelreda's maiden name was Gotobed but not sure.
Any help on this family appreciated. Thank you.

What gives you the 1818 date?
I can see a son John Eaves buried 1810. (familysearch pilot)

Familysearch.org has Robert Eaves marrying Etheldred Gotobed on 11 May 1809 at Trinity Church, Ely, Cambridge, England......9 years before your date so is this the correct couple or just pure coincidence? !!

Hi
It could well be my Robert and Ethelreda.
I can't imagine there are many Ethelreda Gotobeds from Ely !!
I only went on the child information I have which is Betsy Eaves b. abt 1818, parents Robert and Ethelreda Eaves.
Thank you for your help

I love the name Gotobed EAVES, baptised 21 August 1811 at Ely by Robert and Atheldreda [sic] EAVES.
Doesn't say if son or daughter but one assumes a son for some reason. Wonder what he/she was called for short!
