Fabulous. So not an armaments factory then?  Wonder if the difference is due to WW2 censorship or misremembered family lore.  I'll be seeing William's son later so will give him the article and see whether his mother told him anything else.

Living where he was, the bakery would have been only a couple of streets away - it was there until a couple of years ago!
