Title: Ellen L'Estrange died in Horncastle 1893
Post by: cariandcammy on Wednesday 09 February 11 18:02 GMT (UK)
Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for a bit of help trying to trace an Ellen L'Estrange who married a William Frazier/Frazer in Horncastle, Lincolnshire on 12 May 1842. I have had no problem tracing her on all the census' once she is married, but would love to find her somewhere in 1841!

According to the census', she was born about 1822 in Ireland. I would like to find out the names of her parents too.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Many thanks in advance!
Cari

Who is her father on her marriage cert? And his occupation?

I got the marriage date from a different tree on Ancestry. On that tree, Ellen's father is listed as Richard.

I am still awaiting a reply from the tree's owner. I would appreciate any help meantime from RootsChat members if they can help!

Thanks for the link to the Lincoln marriages, unfortunately I can only view the marriages up to Groom Surname C!  :(

I suppose this is what they are on about at the bottom of the homepage http://mi.lincolnshiremarriages.org.uk/

Personally, I only ever use the "slider" on the right.  I've never used the "drop-down". :)
