Hello - Can anyone help to locate the whereabouts of this house in Peacehaven?
My wife, her sister and parents spent many happy holidays between the late 40s and 50s with her uncle Joe (a former jockey) at his prefabricated home and smallholding which bordered farmland in Peacehaven.
I would imagine it has long since been demolished and developed, but it would be nice to check its whereabouts. However, all we have to go on is this photo and the following:
Uncle Joe: George F Hollier b.26.12.1891 - 1978 - known as Joe (no idea why)
Aunti Lottie: Charlotte Elizabeth Boniface B:12 Jan 1899
Address: Fairseat, Peacehaven (a smallholding).
Thanks, Fred

Hello Fred,
I also spent happy times at Fairseat and know the location of the bungalow.
Have sent message to you on Genes Reunited so you can contact me if you wish.
best wishes

I knew your relatives very well. They lived on Firle Road Peacehaven. Your "Jo" was the rag and Bone man and his wife bred rabbits for meat. We had 2 for pets. He had a big white horse called Polly and I think he had a couple of goats. His wife had a dark bobbed hairstyle and wore brown dungarees.
