Hi
How can I look up a specific copy of the 'Leitrim Observer' for February 1904 ?
Is a pay website my only option ?
I have tracked down a specific article (6 February 1904 - "funeral of an esteemed lady") which may unlock a few mysteries about one of my ancestors who returned to Ireland briefly in mid 1904 - after the death of a person of interest in my research.
Any suggestions ?
Cheers

Thanks for that link Hallmark.
I have also found that the Australian National Library has access to old Irish Newspapers.

I suggest you contact Mary Confrey in the Local History department of the County Leitrim library.
Send an email to Mary with full details of the article and she will send you the information you want.

If you plan to visit Leitrim allow plenty of time to check out the Local History Collection at libray headquarters in Ballinamore.

Many thanks for the tips.
I might get a chance to visit Ireland in a few months time. I am working on ways to maximise the use of my limited time there.
Cheers
