Title: Redworth RD COMPLETED WITH THANKS
Post by: old virginia on Monday 31 January 11 09:05 GMT (UK)
I have a death certificate for Redworth RD; please could you tell me where to look for the burial? The death took place in 1926. Thank you. Caz.

In theory a burial could take place anywhere, but the death has to registered in the district in which it took place. For example a person could have died in a hospital in a large town but be buried in their home village.
Was the address in Redworth?

Hi Stan,

Thank you for your reply; The residence of informant was her daughter and also Redworth. Do you know if there is a church there? I have tried Googling but not been successful.

Regards

Caz.

Redworth was in the parish of Heighington, so the burial was probably in the parish church of St. Michael.

Just to let you know Stan I have now heard back from the record office and the burial did take place at St Michael's Heighington; I am so grateful once again for all your help. Your work on this forum is wonderful.

Kindest regards

Caz.
