Title: No father on birth cert..
Post by: tobin on Saturday 29 January 11 19:33 GMT (UK)
hi i was wondering if anyone can offer some advice on how to get started on my mothers paternal side, she was born in 1950,no fathers name was entered but she was always told who he was,and it would seem it went to court and her father was made to pay for her upkeep.Would the court case notes be available?if so who would i need to contact?all i have to go on is his name and the area he lived..many thanks for looking at this and would be great if i could get some idea on how i can make a start

I would try Cambridgeshire County Record Office, if that is the relevant county. Look out for pm.

Hi patsy,

I got a pm from you but it just contained a quote from the one I sent you and nothing more written by yourself.

Perhaps you would like to send.
