Any information on the Cull family please.

I just did a quick look on the 1881 census and there are 120 CULLs in Worcestershire. At this point I have no way of knowing which ones interest you or what you already know about them.
Can you give us a bit more detail in your request? For example: who are you starting with - names of family members, approximate ages. What information do you already have? Have you found them on any census yet? What time period are you asking about? etc. If you can narrow down requests or give us a concrete starting point, then you will probably find someone will be able to help you out.

Hi, I have: -
Birth Cert. Alfred Ernest Cull 25/01/1861, son of Cornelius b. 1826 & Mary Ann (ne Calver) b. 1835. Birth in Birmingham but I believe Cornelius came from Bengeworth and Mary Ann from Cheltenham.
Birth Cert. Gladys Violet Cull 24/07/1900, daughter of Alfred Ernest (as above) & Rosina b. Dec 1859 (ne Masters). Birth in Birmingham.
Birth Cert. Clarence Cull 13/04/1904, parents as above.
Alfred and Rosina had at least seven children, their third, Elsie b. Mar 1891 is my wife's grandmother.
I'd like to get confirmatory information on the Cull & Calver familes in Worcestershire as I'm too far back for FreeBMD and FreeCen.

1861 census:
RG09/2132/34/13 - Back 45 Chester St, Birmingham
Cornelius CULL Head 34 Sword Mounter Evesham, Worcs
Mary Ann CULL Wife 27 Cheltenham, Gloucs
Frederick Witton CULL Son 2 Erdington, Warwicks
Alfred Ernest CULL Son 2 mo Birmingham
Cornelius is lodging in Birmingham (unmarried) in 1851.
He is in Bengeworth in 1841, probably with his parents and siblings, but the census image is practically illegible... ::)
However, the LDS Pilot Search site http://search.labs.familysearch.org has a likely baptism for him:
Cornelius CULL, son of John CULL and Rebecca, baptised at Bengeworth on 1 Oct 1826.
Other children baptised at Bengeworth by John and Rebecca:
Drusilla - 7 Nov 1826
Pheophilus - 7 Nov 1826
Priscilla - 7 Nov 1826
Bazall - 7 Jun 1829
Cleophas - 26 Jan 1832
Usilla - 22 Mar 1835
So based on that, this looks like the family in 1851:
HO107/2044/76/31 - Church St, Bengeworth, Worcs
John CULL Head 66 Labourer Evesham, Worcs
Rebecca CULL Wife 57 Southampton
Bazil CULL Son 22 Baker & Confectioner Bengeworth
Usilla CULL Dau 17 Gloveress Bengeworth
Ellen ROGERS Grandau 2 Bengeworth

Thanks very much. I now have some serious research to do!

Hi NEMASIS,
On top of that, BMSGH (Birmingham and Midland Society for Genealogy and Heraldry) have recently taken over the management of the Evesham Index, 20,000 card references to Evesham and it's environs. CULL is listed as a name that occurs in that Index.
For more information go to our website http://www.bromsgrovebmsgh.co.uk/ then go to Worcestershire Resources in the Resources box on the left. There is a link to the current holder of the Index who will tell you about the CULL held. No promises that it's the correct family though.
There also a Worcestershire Families forum board that you may wish to post to. It's free and you don't have to be a BMSGH member.
AND if you follow the link from our branches Home page to our parent society's main site, and then select Member's Interests on the left menu, there are two CULL researcher's listed for that area.
Hope that helps.
Mike

Hi,
Just read the above. CULL appears on FreeREG http://www.freereg.org.uk/, a pre-1837 project.
BMSGH also do the Worcestershire Marriage Index and Worcestershire Burial Index (also loaded into the National Burial Index).
Malvern FHS also have started the County Baptism Index.
After all the above transcriptions you will still need to see the original images at the record office or hire microfilms from the LDS.
