Hello,
Does anyone have a map which shows the whereabouts in Leftwich of York Buildings? My ancestors lived there in 1861. If anyone knows any of the history of York buildings that would be great. Prior to this they lived in Ray's Brow Gt Budworth in 1841 so if anyone knows anything at all about the Gt Budworth address that would be a real bonus.
All the best

Yes same family. Odessa has helped me loads ( same family also, and expert) So now there are 3 of us tracing the often elusive Whittinghams. This is good. Regards
Carolyn.
PS How can we get each others' personal email?

Hi All,
You can use the personal message system to exchange email addresses and stay in touch offline. Help on how to use this facility is here:

In the 1881 Census there is a Yorkshire Place in Leftwich. No. 1 is at RG11; Piece: 3523; Folio: 21; Page: 10. There are 148 inhabitants in the whole street.
