Title: Birth Look Up - Charles Clacy

Hi,

Looking for the birth of Charles CLACY in Reading in 1819. He migrated to Australia in 1850. On his death certificate it says that he was born in Reading , Berkshire, England in 1819.

Any help much appreciated.

Hi Sharon,

The IGI has a "submitted" entry as follows;
Born 24-5-1819 Reading, Berks
Death 23-8-1882
Marriage to Lilian Alice EARLE 1861, Richmond, Australia

Hopefully some one with the PRs can look up and make a confirmation
of his birth .

Thanks Pam for the info on the 1841 Census. I am wondering if this is our Charles CLACY as he went on to become a Publican in Australia and in the 1841 Census Charles and John CLACY are recorded as living at a Beer Shop.

Thanks Alan, that is what I am really hoping for, that someone with the PRs can look up and make a confirmation of his birth.
