Title: STREET DIRECTORY - WIRRAL - mid to late 1930s
Post by: Dickiesam on Thursday 20 January 11 11:59 GMT (UK)
Hi,
Hope this is in the right place!

Anyone out there with access to a Wirral street directory which includes Parkgate [in the district of Neston] from about the mid-1930s to the early 1940s? Looking for occupiers of 31 Moorfield Drive, Parkgate.

Believe this estate was built in the mid 30s. I know that by 1945 a Henry and Hilda Roberts were there. Trying to find out when they might have moved in. Any an old telephone directories around in case they had a phone? Or Electoral Rolls for the area?

Thanks again KathB. It's only about 50 years since I had a drink in Parkgate, although it sometimes feels like a lot more, and the area has changed so much since then.
