Title: Lilleshall lookup 1851 & 1861

I'm looking for details of the Latham and Lees (sometimes spelt Leese) families from Donington Wood, Shropshire. I know Keziah Latham born about 1843 married Charles Lees born about 1842 before 1869 when Martha Maria Lees was born. I hoping census details can get me near a date of marriage and more family details.

The information was taken from a census index disk, so unfortunately it doesn't show relationship or place of birth.

I have a transcription of the 1841 Lilleshall census and found Kezia so I presume she was born in Lilleshall

Now had time to check this out. I found Kerzia Latham born in London Q1 1840 on 1837online (the only one I could find).

Can anyone please find Richard & Jemima Latham on the 1851 or later census as it might confirm if the London one is right, then I can get the birth certififcate.

I believe the Keziah Latham born in London is the wrong one, found this on familysearch.

You're right the London one wasn't mine. After reading the thread about 'lying about your age' I spead my net further and finally found Kezia born in 1839! - and with that problem solved will pursue Richard & Jemima.

My connection is with the Leese.  Charles and Keziah were married on

April 2, 1864 in Shifnal, Shropshire.
