I am looking for the household of Richard and Kesiah Lewis, born in Wales 1820.
I have recently confirmed that they emigrated in 1861 with their children, Sarah, Kersiah and Thomas. Family story suggests that Thomas could be the father of John Lewis(1880-1969) the President of The United Mineworkers of America from 1920 -1960. I am trying to prove/disprove this and this is the first step on the US side of the pond.
Thanks in advance

Thanks,
I found the reference in Obscurity to Power a few hours after posting along with the comments about Annes father also leaving Wales, so I guess this kills the family rumour.
Once again Thanks
