I am trying to track the marriage of ELiza Uley and John Roach.
I believe they were married in ST John the Baptist church Winterbourne.
However when I search on Ancestry it gives me a burial record instead of a marriage record, but with Marriage details so I think it was transcribed incorrectly
TEXT : 283 26 Mar 1820 John Roach & Eliza Uley botp Banns
BOOK : Burialls 1604. (Burial)
Collection : Gloucestershire: Bristol - Register of Marriages, 1800-1837
Does anyone have access to the real Parish records entry please?

I think the marriage record is correct as it gives the actual date 26.3.1820 both of this parish, by banns.
I think its saying that their burial records can be found in book starting at 1604 :-\
The only other information contained in the parish records would be their status and witnesses name, no other information is usually given.

Thanks, that record just looks odd to me. I was hoping the parish record would give me their fathers.
I was expecting the marraige to appear in the Winterbourne archive records, as it's an excellent site, and all of their children's baptsims are shown there, but it seems to be missing from there.
Thanks again.
