Hi,
Bit of a longshot here but could someone please have a look for the following in the 1841 for Birmingham
James Sanders - born about 1772 (would be nice if it was in Scotland)
Elizabeth (wife) born 1775 - birmingham
children who might not be there due to age
James 1799
William 1801
Joseph 1806
Mary Ann 1808
Ann 1810 all born in St Martin's, Birmingham
I realise the parents would be over 60 in 1841 - but many thanks for looking

Do you have any evidence to support that they were still alive in 1841 ???

Hi,
No nothing at all - sorry - this is a real shot in the dark.
Regards, Mark

Ok I will take a look under Sanders and Saunders.

Cant see a James the correct age, there is an Elizabeth Sanders but she appears to be the wife of a Thomas but as relationships are not given, you cant be 100% sure.
There is a death registration on Ancestry Dec.q 1839 Birmingham 16-160
James Sanders.
Also Elizabeth Sanders March.q. 1840 Birmingham 16 - 229.
A word of caution there are a lot of Sanders in that area.

Hi,
Many thanks for looking - it wouldn't surprise me that both these people died before 1841 - tough life in Birmingham - I appreciate your efforts. Looks like another dead end
Thanks, Mark

Hi Mark, just found your message. Did you get any further with this Sanders family: James & Elizabeth? I believe they may be my direct ancestors & I think I know a little more about them which I'm happy to share.
Julie.
