I presume these are different parishes .
Could anyone tell me if there were any Wesleyan chapels in either place, and if so, whether there remain graveyards , or records associated with them .
I'd also be grateful to know where I could find either the BTs or parish registers for them.

The Genuki page for the Llanelidan parish gives a Wesleyan Chapel known as Zion.For Llanfair DC it gives a Wesleyan Chapel known as Graigfechan.

As far as the Parish Registers for the parishes,these are available for viewing at the Denbighshire Record Office at Ruthin.Transcription booklets for both are available for purchase via the Clwyd Family History Society Website.

I visited the chapel at Llaneliden earlier this week. Although now closed, it is in good condition with a tiny beautifully maintained graveyard. Most headstones are legible and I found both my GG Grandfathers (PRICE and ROBERTS) buried virtually side by side. Well worth a visit.

Geoff,
Which Price/Roberts are you interested in from Llanelidan? My GGgrandfather Robert Roberts is buried in the Churchyard and we also have other Roberts and Price from Llanelidan/Llanfair DC areas too. I didn't know the Church was closed in Llanelidan, a couple of years ago we viewed the actual baptism books that were still held within the Church.

Hi

I notice the interest in 'Roberts' and thought I would see if mine connect at all. I have Maria Roberts (my great grandmother) born in Llanfair in 1863 daughter of David.
If either Geoff or Nerys have a connection then please let me know.

Hi I just wondered who your Price's were from Llanelidan as I have Price's from there too, the furthest back I have got is a Thomas Price born abt 1710, any relation?
