Hiya

I am a descendant of Alice Knight from Lower Froyle in Hampshire and an American, John Anderson serving in The 7th Hussars.

Their descendants ended up owning and working at the Mayford Stores, in Mayford, Woking from around 1924 to 1940.

Would like to hear from anyone about any history about the stores or their only daughter, Daphne Mabel Brown.

Unless they moved when I wasn't looking, Mayford & Woking are in Surrey - I happened to be passing through last weekend   ;)
