Can anyone help with information on burials at Llanaber? I have driven that coast road, parked near the burial ground and looked at the packed memorials, thinking one day I would search for a family member's grave, but that is now unlikely.
She was Agnes Mansel, nee Ainslie, who died in November 1835. Her husband re-married and moved from the area, and there were no children of her marriage, so there are unlikely to be other inscriptions.
Any information about the location of the burial register or of the grave itself, would be much appreciated.

Hello Ainslie
Gwynedd FHS have produced the MIs for Llanaber:
http://chtg.gwis.co.uk/
This would assume that she had a headstone though :-\

Hello Ainslie
I have bought a copy of the Llanaber MIS, as many of my ancestors are also buried there. I, too, walked through the churchyard, at the time, very overgrown, and I have found the Gwynedd FHS MIs invaluable. If you think any others would be buried there, it's well worth getting a copy of your own.
Agnes Mansel is buried in Section B, 0457, page 60 in the book, just below the road and to the right of the church as you look at the main door. The MI reads:
Here Lie The Mortal Remains of AGNES MANSEL, for 20 years the faithful and beloved wife of the Rev; SPENCER PERCEVAL MANSEL. She died at Borthwen in this parish, Nov; 30th, 1835, aged 48. "Whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth" (Chest)
I hope this helps with your quest and I have had so much help from others via RootChat over the years.
If you contact me directly, I can send one of my photos of Llanaber Churchyard, pointing in more or less the direction your ancestor would be buried. It appears to be too big to post on here.

There is a burial of Catherine Robb in Llanaber on 10th October 1939.
She was 34 and died at the Memorial Hospital, Machynlleth.
Her husband, Robert Roadman Robb, born 22nd may 1903, was in Eastleigh, Hampshire, in 1939, with Eliza J G Edwards, born 3rd April 1908, who became his second wife.

There are images of some graves on this site, but not the one of Catherine:

I took some images a few years ago, and it is on a slope. The older part would be difficult, but the modern part had some paths.
