Hi,
I'm currently researching the Vernons of Bothamsall and know that there is only one family in the village. I am aware that there are a few Vernon families in Misterton and wonder if there is any link between the two.
I have found a Roger Vernon and Allice in the 1841 Bothamsall Census aged 75 - Roger is not a very common name and I can only find one marriage on the LDS site for a Roger marrying an Alice in 1805 in Bothamsall. So I need to find a Roger Vernon born in approximately 1766.
Is there anyone out there who may have come across any link between the two villages or is researching the same family.
Many thanks,
Loulou12

Hi Loulou
I have found their burials if you haven't already got them
Roger Vernon buried 23.10.1850 aged 84
Alice Vernon buried 4.3. 1842 aged 70
Both at Our Lady & St Peters, Bothamsall.
