Any ideas?? Printed record says Annie Manmey, but i think its Marrney on the written?( The loop over the letter M is belonging to the name that was above this one)
-
Are you sure the ending isnt an old fashioned 'ss' rather than a 'y'?
-
i'm not too sure about that the record is 1887? it doesnt look that way to me but i'm unsure
-
Hi
I'm pretty sure that is a double "s" at the end of this name.
-
ok thats cool but what is the surname? lol Mariness? Marmess? there's no record of anything
-
Hi
Well I read it as "MARMASS"....
-
hmm. can't find any such name belonging to the family i'm researching. it's def a "y" at the end. the other people on the page (marriage records- american), i've seen the y is the same in names such as Mary and Henry
-
looking at it again i think its Marnvey, or Marvney?
