Title: William Kelly
Post by: majortom on Monday 10 January 11 14:07 GMT (UK)
Hi
I'm looking for any information on William and Martha Kelly who owned the corner shop at 2 Ballynahinch Road, Lisburn in the early 1900s. The shop is now Gails Costcutters. I believe the shop may have been part of the house where the Kellys lived.
Many thanks

Hi,
They are listed in the 1911 census but the road spelling is BALLINAHINCH at that time. As they came from Co.Armagh and had been married for 34 years in 1911, I found a marriage of William Kelly to Martha Dollar in Portadown Church of Ireland on 2 Feb 1877.
See www.census.nationalarchives.ie
