This one is a bit of a puzzle. James Bartley enquired about his convict sister to the Governor of Tasmania in July 1868. He was Irish like his sister and his address was given as Black Horse, Alport Down, Deansgate Manchester. Guess I am wondering if he was still there in 1871 and if anyone can point me in the right direction to finding out more about this address that he was living at and perhaps where he might have been in 1871 if not at the above address?
Thanks in advance!
