I am trying to trace the graves of my grandparents and I'm not sure how to go about it.
My grandfather was Thomas Emery he died 16th February 1920 and was interred at Witton cemetery
My Grandmother was Hannah Emery she died 1st September 1925 and was interred in a family grave at Warstone Lane cemetery. I no longer live in Birmingham and I'm trying to get as much info: as possible before visiting. Can anyone help me please?

Hello,
Birmingham Central Library - Heritage and Archives, should have burial records and plot numbers for Witton Cemetery.
They may also have for Warstone lane Cemetery too.
When were you thinking of visiting Birmingham ?
The Friends of Key Hill & Warstone Lane Cemeteries in Birmingham Jewellery Quarter hold an open day every year in September.
This is a fun day out with guided tours , stalls , local Authors, entertainment , Cemetery Records.
I will do my best to help regarding Warstone Lane Burial.

Hello,
It appears that Hannah is entered as
Anna Emery
Buried 1925 at Warstone lane Cemetery, Hockely in Birmingham Jewellery Quarter
Registered number : 89283. ( note this is not the plot number )
The Birmingham & Midland Society of Genealogy have transcribed both Key Hill & Warstone Lane Cemeteries records and plot numbers.
Friends of Key Hill & Warstone Lane Cemeteries have transcribed Key Hill Memorial records (not all graves had a memorial or headstone )
I understand a start has been made on Warstone lane.
Birmingham Central Library Archives will most likely have plot numbers .
Handsworth Cemetery in Birmingham also hold records for Key Hill & Warstone Lane .
Sorry I do not have their contact details to hand ( try internet search for telephone number )
As you have date and year of death along with Registered number above, I sure Handsworth will be helpful.
Hope this helps
