John MULLIS married Mary (possibly Timms) and had three children -
Sarah 1826, Elizabeth 1827 and William 1829.
William married Elizabeth (Walton) and migrated to NZ in the late 1870's with their
8 children and I have a lot of information this line. Although William was apparently in the 2nd Regiment of the Warwickshire Militia in Leamington in 1853 and I would like to know more about this.
Is there someone who knows what happened to Sarah and Elizabeth? Anyone researching the Mullis family? Any living relatives out there?
Any information would be appreciated.

Hello Emrose, I don't have any connection to your Mullis family but just in case you are not aware that both the Oxhill 1841 census & the parish registers are online, I have added the following links:
First link is census index & Oxhill comes under Kineton which second link should take you to.
http://www.hunimex.com/warwick/freecens/1841/index_1841.html
http://www.hunimex.com/warwick/freecens/1841/41133c.html
I had a quick look & found an Elizabeth 13 & William 11 but living with parents Richard & Mary.
Finally parish registers are at http://www.oxhill.org.uk/ChurchRegisters/Registers.htm and fascinating reading it is too! Regards, TonyR

Hello Julie, forgot to add these later census links for Oxhill.

Also, I do have an interest in the Parkers of Oxhill, so if you find a connection to them somewhere we could be related!! Regards, TonyR.

Hi Julie, my first time using this site...don't know if you still are as postings are from a while ago, but anyway.... I am a direct descendent of William MULLIS and Elizabeth WALTON. Looking to make contact with others, or learn more about the family.

I would also like to add that I have Walton and Wilkins family connections In Kineton, Rugby, Leamington, Warwickshire area's
Also Orsborn sometimes spelt with an E on the end or without the first (R) in the Oxfordshire and Warwickshire area.
I do know that some of the Orsborn's were travellers and had links with Birmingham.
In Birmingham have links also to Hinton, and Griffin families.

I have just found my 19th century Mullis(s)/Parker connection from Oxhill and would like to make contact.
I have John Mulliss with wife Rebecca and daughter Hannah in Oxhill in 1841.
Hannah later emigrated to New Zealand and married William Parker, whom I believe may have been her childhood companion in Oxhill - yet to be confirmed. There is certainly a William Parker living near the Mullisses on the 1841 Oxhill census.
