Title: ARTHUR family of St Column Minor

Hi,

Could I request a look up for the Parish baptism records for St Columb Minor

I am trying to see if there is a connection between the following Arthurs'

I have

Aaron Arthur - son of William and Mary Arthur ( nee Tregonning) baptised 1822.
and his various Descendants - ( my immediate ancestors) all in St Columb  Minor

Nancy Arthur - daughter of William and Mary Arthur  born 1813.

There is also a William Arthur born 1811 on the 1841 St Columb Minor Census - and I was wondering if he could be connected to Aaron and Nancy.

He is listed with wife Ann in 1841, and also with a Betsy Arthur - age 60 - is this his mother ?
William and Ann have son called Aaron  so I am assuiming there may be a connection some how.

Any suggestions/help gratefully received.

William ARTHUR baptised 22 Oct 1810 parents William and Mary

There is also a William baptised in Newlyn East 27 Jan 1808 parents John and Elizabeth. Possible marriage in St Columb Minor 23 Dec 1797 John ARTHUR to Elizabeth HOYTE

23 Dec 1797.....ARTHUR John Sojourner OTP = HOYTE Elizabeth Sojourner OTP by Banns. John Signed, Elizabeth Signed with her Mark. Witnesses: John Hoyte and Jane Rowe

19 Nov 1774.....ARTHUR William OTP = PASCOE Anne Spinster OTP by Licence. William Signed, Anne Signed with her Mark. Witnesses: William ? and John Sampson

don't see a John

I wonder if Betty in 1841 may be William's Aunt.  :-\ I note re John and Elizabeth in Newlyn that there is an Elizabeth aged 75 a dairywoman still in Newlyn in 1841 and a death at 77 in 1842 to fit. I also note Elizabeth HOYTE baptised 16 Nov 1766 to  George and Joan so it all fits.

That gives me some options to consider.

Just thinking quickly of the  possible options - I see from 1851 and subsequent census' that  William ( born 1810/11) is  with Ann, and gives St Columb Minor as birth place, which may favour him over the William in 1808 baptised Newlyn East.

Will try and see if Elizabeth Arthur born 1781 married or her death record after 1841, to see if any more details help from death certificate with  connections.

May end up as one of those impossible ones to actually prove.  :-\

For my money he is the St Columb one.

Elizabeth ARTHUR died Jun 1/4 1843 St Col 9 44

Elizabeth ARTHUR was buried 25 Apr 1843 St Columb Minor. She was aged 62 of Tregistic
