Title: Holloway Prison Inmates
Post by: JoMaley on Sunday 02 January 11 22:36 GMT (UK)
My great Aunt was imprisoned in Holloway in the early 1940's and we are trying to find out more sepcific details of her sentance etc.

The case may have been reported in the Sunday Pictorial but a day researching the newspaper archives has not brought any results.

Does anyone have any ideas about where I can find information about her sentance, when she was conviced and released etc?

She then moved back to America to California, where we know she was married to someone called Sam Katz, who was possibly in the film industry or a dentist.  Again we are not sure how to find information about when she died.

look forward to any ideas!

Thanks
Jo

Hello Jo
Prison records are subject to the 100 year rule so not available at this time.
You need to know where she was living at the time & assume the offence
was committed there & search the local papers for that area.
