I have been trying to find my grandmothers sister here name is alice gribbin i have found my grandmothers family on the 1891-and 1901.
Gran's name is catherine born 1885-6 in liverpool.

I don't know i did not no she had a sister till my sister told me as i said i found my grans family on the1891 at 15 emley street bootle and 1901 at 5 cross street bootle and there is no sign of her.

assuming that your Gran's mother is Elizabeth - I went back to 1881 and there was no Alice :(
Hang on, you said Liverpool, but now you mention Bootle?

My grandmothers mothers name was also catherine born 1866 and her father is james gribbin he was born
1856 died 1902.

Maybe Alice was born after the 1901 census mother is still of age to bear children.
Alice Gribbin 1904 West derby This is the reg district of the area they are living 1901 census.

FreeBMD has an Alice Gribbin born 1855 in Liverpool, ref Liverpool 8b 12 and Family Search has Alice Gribbin listed on the 1861 census age 6, daughter of the house born in Liverpool,
I have no access to the census but maybe someone can look this up for you.

I am trying to find my grans sister alice gribbin don't know when she was born all i can say is that my gran was born in 1885 in liverpool
I did find her family in 1891 15 emley street and the 1901 at 5 cross street both liverpool.
Grans father was james gribbin born 1856 and died just before gran married in 1905.
her mothers name is catherine born1866.But no sign of alice so i think a death lookup for james and a lookup in the 1911 to try and work out where she is .
I hope this is not to much for you i have not got a clue what happend to her.

An Alice GRIBBIN born 1904 is in West Derby with parents John and Eliza, so doesn't look like 'your' Alice.
