Gazette Issue 30251 published on the 24 August 1917. Page 38 of 50
33664 Sjt. D. Price, Welsh R.
For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to
duty. He entered a hostile dug-out alone,
found it full of the enemy, and compelled
them to surrender. He subsequently collected
a party which he led against a
machine-gun position, displaying the finest
courage and initiative on both occasions.
